Won't fix problem

Hi, I installed the Comodo Antivirus for Mac and on the left panel the message is “The virus scanner is not functioning properly!” with a button below that to “Run Diagnostics”. I click the button and run the diagnostics and prompted to fix the problem. I click to fix the problem, which requires a reboot. After the reboot I get another message that it found a problem and asks if I want to fix it. If I click to fix it the same thing happens to do another reboot and still can’t fix it.
How do I fix this?

I’m using Majove 10.14.6. Is it supported?

I “allowed” Comodo Antivirus within the Security & Privacy properties and it ended up working but it took a long time to reboot.
