Windows - security workload -> LINUX

I’ve came across many Firewalls and AntiVirus programs during past few years puting a LOT of work to get it work. Plus hogging the system with NONPRODUCTIVE software.

All this time I was afraid of switching to Linux because of possible high efort necessary during first few months (my computer knowledge is low/average). Then it came to me that trying out all of those security programs for windows might have consumed a lot more of my time, than switching to Linux times 2! In linux I wouldn’t have to pay so much attention to security matter. Windows is a platform where one gives more effort preventing security breach than actual work! For me this is unecceptable and now I’m closer switching to linux than ever.

Now the only thing which might stop me from this is unavailability of AutoCAD and other professional engineering software for Linux.
