Win 2k bug check crash when network access attempted

Since installing Comodo AntiVirus on a Win 2000 SP4 machine I am getting crashes with the event ID 1001 details as shown below.
The computer is one of 3 computers on a workgroup network and is the only one with Comodo AV installed.
I have checked RAM and associated hardware issues as advised by Microsoft for this error and the hardware checks OK. Nothing else was changed on the system.

The crash/bug check occurs on the PC with CAV which is unattended and occurs when one of the other PCs attempts to open a file or print to the PC with CAV.

TIA for any suggestions to stop these crashes.

Hi filmseal

Welcome to the forums

It sounds like you have an application conflict. Do you get crashes with HIPS in CAV deactivated? What other security apps do you have installed? You could test it by eliminating one of them at a time with CAV to see if there is any improvement.

Let us know if any of this helps
