Trying to install CFP_Setup_3.0.25.378_XP_Vista_x32.exe on a WinXP x64 system and having problems. See attachments.

Well thats is easily fixable. Your trying to install a 32bit Comodo on a 64 bit OS. Download and install Comodo 64bit. Your answer is right in front of you with your screen shots and post.
doh Sorry. Went back to the download page, didn’t see the separate link for x64. I just clicked the big button that said download.
