will comodo slow web pages loading?

see http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2333817,00.asp paragraph 7
I expected no impact from Comodo on the browser test, which measures the time required to let dozens of Web sites with big content-rich home pages fully load. "

Does comodo perform a security on pages as result of searching and will it delay pages loading? Can i turn it off? I have pages take long time loading and the pc hangs

I’m guessing you are referring to CIS with the AV realtime on (that is what PC mage is referring to).
CAVS currently does not check websites. Just basic AV scanning to whatever is executed/written on the disk. The only option is to disable realtime AV scanning, which would disable all AV protection.

yes but I have cfp in case that matters

so CFP is not slowing pages loading?

Can't do that then, thanks

So, you’re just running CFP? I don’t see any reason why that would slow pages down. It would be the AV, if anything, if you were running that too.
