I’m trying to watch videos on Netflix and Amazon, but they are telling me that my browser is missing the widevinecdmadapter.dll and widevinecdm.dll components. Is there a way to download those .dll files and install them for Dragon?
I could imagine that Chrome browser may have them and you could copy them from the Chrome plugins folder.
Perhaps, if I had Chrome installed, but I don’t.
You would have to temporarily install it.
OK. So, I found the widevinecdm folder in Chrome and copied it into Comodo, but it doesn’t seem to work. I tried clicking on the .dll files, hoping that they would install, but I got the error message that I was trying to open it and didn’t have a program that was able to do anything with it.
Any other ideas, or tips on what to try next?
Thanks for the help with what we’ve tried so far.
It is because of the reported problem here.
“This browser does not support video playback.”
You can merge the topics. Browser team is working on it to prepare a fix for this into next update of Dragon and Chromodo.
About fix, you cannot fix it on your own. You can use IceDragon, you can watch this with IceDragon.
