Why CIS over time alerts:

Why CIS over time alerts: Full scan is pending.
Yellow icon. After all, everything is included. Scheduled on.
Why every time to run - in manual mode?
What is wrong? Is not clear.
How is avoided? ???
CIS 5.10

I don’t quite understand. Have you run a Full Scan yet?

If not then please run a full scan, at a time of your convenience, and see if the alert goes away.

Dr.Chiron Hi!
Yes. After a few days, he has once again check the manual.

That he himself does not believe. (The actual scan.)

P.S. CIS can make mistakes when you roll back the system to a day ago?
But after a rollback CIS works without problems 5-10 days. And the icon is green.

Scan-plan is reasonable scan.
But at another level, this happened also.

So the system was restored? Was this done with system restore?

Are there any other problems with CIS, or is it just the alert? Also, since the system was restored has a full scan been run? If not it’s probably worth running it to see what happens.

P.S.
But after a rollback CIS works without problems 5-10 days. And the icon is green.

If it crashes after the rollback of the system. That is why in after 5-10 days?

He also performs real-time scanning.
And everything is fine. The icon is green. Updating the database always via internet.

P.S.Why demand a manual scan after in a few days good work ???

Chiron Hi!
5-10 days, is an example. Just happens- requires a manual scan.
Although all updated every day. Scheduling scans is.

If you want the icon to turn green without running a full scan, you can temporarily exclude your entire hard drive, then run a full scan.

With everything excluded, the scan will complete very quickly. Remember to remove the exclusion after you run the scan, otherwise the AV will not be protecting you from anything.

Just repeat this process when you want to turn the icon green again.

Dr.Heffed Hi!

That’s what I do every time.
So it is normal that over time, the yellow icon?
Strange. Thanks for the clarification.
Tired on all the computers on and explain. ;D :-TU

Yes, that’s normal. The software wants you to run full scans regularly.

I never see it turn green for not doing a full scan. May be that is because I disable the scheduled full scan.

Dr.Heffed Hi!
Thanks for the answer :-TU

P.S. Dr.EricJH Hi!
