Which one of these files is Private key.....

Hi

A newbei queation please.

I have to install SSL certificate on AWS ELB(elastic load balancer). I have received four files from comodo .

  1. xxxxx_com.crt
  2. COMODORSADomainValidationSecureServerCA.crt
  3. AddTrustExternalCARoot.crt
  4. COMODORSAAddTrustCA.crt
    Which one of these files is Private key, Public Key Certificate, and Certificate Chain?

Comodo don’t issue private keys.

You would have needed to generate this yourself to send them the CSR, as the CSR is based on the public key, which is based on the private key.

The first of those files would be the signature, the rest are the certificate chain.
