What will happen when 5.0.0.0/8 Address range is allocated ?

Hi,

at the moment EasyVPN (along with Hamachi) gives VPN clients an IP address in the 5.0.0.0/8 address range which is currently unallocated by IANA.

Since the internet is rapidly running out of IPv4 addresses the 5.0.0.0/8 range is not expected to remain unallocated for much longer so I’m wondering what plans Comodo have in place to change the addresses used by EasyVPN when this happens ?

Thanks

Paul

IANA has now announced the allocation of 5/8 (IP addresses 5.0.0.0 - 5.255.255.255.255) to RIPE which is the range that Comodo is using to assign the IP addresses used by EasyVPN, so can we have some information from Comodo on what they intend to do now the network block they’ve been using is about to go into active use ?
