i am using the comodo registry cleaner and am looking for what values do i look for. what boxes do i check because i am afraid of doing a full registry scan and would rather filter results.
IMO it’s safe to delete everything except “Unsafe Entries”. Not that they are unsafe, but can affect the system. It’s not uncommon to have 700-900 entries flagged the first time you scan. I have removed all my entries without a problem. If you are really unsure you can delete one section at a time (ex. Application Paths, Shared Dlls, Font Locations, Uninstall Locations, File Extensions, etc.) and wait a day or two to delete another section and then leave Unsafe entries alone. All deleted keys are backed up too.
