Do I have to use to be able to host and join Warcraft 3 games? I looked it up (briefly) but couldn’t find someone saying oh! doing this this and this made it work!
Here are my settings… tell me if one is insecure
Allow TCP/UDP IN or Out from IP Any To IP Any Where source port is Any and destination port is 6112.
Allow TCP/UDP Out from IP any to IP any where source and destination port are any.
Allow ICMP Out from IP Any to IP Any where ICMP Message is Echo Request
Allow ICMP In from ip any to ip any where ICMP message is FRAGMENTATION NEEDED
Allow ICMP In from ip any to ip any where ICMP message is Time Exceeded
Allow IP Out from ip any to ip any where IPProto is GRE
Block TCP or UDP from IP any to IP any where source port is any and destination port is any.
This makes my wc3 work, but i will try until i find secure settings that will keep wc3 working. But otherwise… are these ones secure or shall I try again?
WC3 and Frozen Throne should be fine with these settings, and you’re still secure.
