I do not want to talk about tiny firewall or others, which are worthless to my mind.
CIS is ok concerning the firewall, the antivirus is nowadays one of the worst in the world.
Sorry but look at “AVtest” and you can see the horrible results.
I do not want to think about CCAV with any other firewall.
“Spyshelter” is great but not compatible.

I agree that CFW is great and that’s mostly due to the HIPS module. I also agree that you can find several better alternatives to CAV.
That’s why I moved from CIS to CFW (which, by the way, comes with a kind of cloud AV, called cloud lookup). Nearly same protection level, but much lighter on system resources (in my PC it uses 10Mb when idle, 20Mb when filtering traffic, for example when I use the browser).
The point is, CCAV is meant to be more user friendly (less pop-ups), considering that the auto-sandbox feature can take care of nearly every kind of malware

I would really like to see Comodo further develop Comodo Leaktests (adding more up-to-date leaks). Not only was this a good tool for showing how well you were protected against these threats but more importantly (from Comodo’s point of view) could also be used to exploit other security products weaknesses. Maybe display at the end of each scan, a comparison against CIS/CCAV. Any thoughts?

CCAV + CFW8.2.0.4792 OK
I have good luck running CCAV 1.14.431397.586 with CF 10.0.2.6396.
Some comments I found:
It’s a front-end for Windows Firewall and it makes it easier to set WF to block outgoing connections unless an allow rule is present.
You can run it when you need to allow an app to connect out, then you can close it, so it won’t waste system resources.
When you set a custom rule, it doesn’t allow to specify protocol and ports, but it allows all the traffic.
It doesn’t show the default Windows Firewall rules, but only rules added later.
CCAV is fully compatible with comodo firewall so im going to unsticky and lock this topic
