Web site links + shortcuts wont work

I`m using CIS v3.13
XP Sp3
no other security apps

when i click on any links in my hotmail, msn, web page shortcuts saved to desktop i get sweet FA…
Just a blank iexplorer window, for them to work i need to right click/properties n copy n paste…

is there a setting i need to change in CIS… please help, its really doing my head in ???

Not sure this CIS related. But all the same.

I don’t totally understand what you are trying to say. Can you rephrase and post screenshot(s) of what is happening? That would clear up the nature of your problem more quickly.
