Oh well getting late here (12:35am Thursday Australia) and after watching Prison Break (never go to Jail in Panama lol) thought the next beta must be here by now.
But I can wait as the software is worth the wait and the Vista Update I am waiting to apply is not so important that I will loose sleep over.

I was still experiencing the 3-5 minute logon delays, even after restarting several times in Learn mode. To top it off, my Windows Update was pulling down the Dreamscene packs without any problem, but was failing on every install attempt. I wondered if the latest beta was interfering since my other machine has had no problems at all. I set the Firewall and Defense+ to Allow All and tried the install again - no go, same error.
I uninstalled the 3.0.9.221 build and the very next restart was back to full speed, no delays, no lag on the keyboard/mouse at the logon screen. And to top it off, no errors w/the Windows updates. None. Everything installed just fine.
I’ll wait until a fresh installer is released…and…maybe try it again
G’day from downunder (and no we don’t eat shrimps on the barbie and no Kangaroos down the main street either)
Why are we waiting (sung in a jolly fun way (:LGH)) why are we waiting why are waiting, waiting waiting.
Ok now to be serious if I may its 12:33pm Thursday here (Melbourne Australia) and still waiting so I can try to do a Vista Update as the current wont finish it properly and would be good to see if that part of CFP is fixed.

Hi Guys
I know everyone is waiting for the next update but can we have an approx. time when the final will come out eg 1 month 2 months etc. I really need a superior FW for my vista machine cause nothing else out there is really worth looking at and right now I am feeling a little vulnerable. I run the xp version on my desktop and it “IS” superior to anything else on the market and I want the same for my laptop.

Normally Comodo releases on Tuesday or Thursday (US Eastern Time Zone). But that’s just normally. Sometimes things happen and it goes “live” before they want it to; this seems to have happened this time 'round and thus some folks got the next version. No doubt they’ll have some unexpected issues.
My suggestion to those that did get it is to uninstall once the “official” version is released.
Anyhoo, with the Tuesday/Thursday thing; if it doesn’t come out today (Thursday), there’s not much point in looking for it until next Tuesday.
Here’s hoping it’s today! <crosses fingers even though he’s not superstitious>
It only leads to more frustration, if the deadline isn’t met. Based on past experience, they are being much more close-mouthed about release points now.
They obviously were not aware of the problem with this one, or Melih wouldn’t have “leaked” that it was about to go live. Once they found the problem, they pulled the update.
As Comodo have stated, they found a minor bug in the installer for the next beta and withdrew it as soon as the bug was identified. They haven’t yet announced a new release date.
