How do I stop programs from being installed into VT Root directory even when installing as admin?
Some programs are installed into this directory/drive? instead of where I want it. I then have to search for the program. Very annoying.
Deleting does not help as it is recreated.
A check box I missed? Turn off sandbox?
Yes either turn off the sandbox, create an ignore sandbox rule for the application, or change its rating to trusted.
Thank you, since this was a once a year install (tax software) I just turned off the sandbox, installed, and turned it back on.
Software installed in proper location.
