Always, and I’m always right to do so.

There has not been a stable release for almost two months. Chrome 54 was released three weeks ago. Vivaldi 1.4 was released a little more than a week after Chrome 53.

in their latest blog post they said they are getting close to the 1.5 public release.

Today we’ve added initial support for editing bookmarks without the need for using the bookmark editor! You can also edit note titles using the same approach.

As a new week arrives, the first RC for 1.5 arrives with it. And for our Mac users, worry not, Mac is back once again! With today’s build we’ve fixed several regressions, proprietary media support on OpenSUSE, bookmark title dragging, as well as ungrouping of tabs. Our Show Tab Cycler has been updated to respect tab order. The full list of fixes is listed below in the changelog.

Our focus towards 1.5 is fixing any regressions since 1.4, so when reporting issues in the comment section below, please keep that in mind.

We also did some work on our startup procedure and would love to hear feedback on if you notice any difference.

Named Tab Stacks - Vivaldi Browser snapshot 1.6.682.3

Minor update to Vivaldi 1.5 - delta (small) update for Windows

Yesterday we released a minor upgrade to Vivaldi 1.5 to fix a few, small but important issues found in the stable release. It was also the first time we tested our new delta update system on Windows.

A normal upgrade of Vivaldi for Windows using our default packages would have resulted in a 38.5Mb download, however the delta upgrade is less than 1% of that size (323Kb). So small in fact that it would have fit on a floppy disk!

Page Title Tab Notifications - Vivaldi Browser snapshot 1.6.687.3

In addition, we fix a number of important bugs as we start to stabilize Vivaldi 1.6.
