While running Comodo , I contracted a virus on my laptop. I called “Geek Buddy” and have spoken with 5+ techs (and have been terminated numerous times from the online chat while on a different computer) and have been doing the Tech Support tickets. I set up a time, but get an email 3 days later telling me that the tech tried to call, but went to voicemail. 3 times now. My cell phone doesn’t have voicemail set up & there were no missed calls on my phone and I waited & waited for the calls. I’ve been doing this for almost 2 weeks now. I CANNOT CONNECT TO THE INTERNET in safe mode or any other way. The techs can’t remote in to the computer. The viurs will let me log in to windows 8.1, but that’s it. I’m denied access to files, folders, pics, apps, programs, etc… I get reverted back to the desktop. The virus removed restore points and access to hard drive. Under the $500 Guarantee if a virus can’t be fixed, Comodo will pay you up to $500 to take to authorized repair center to fix.
Can you access the hd when in Safe Mode or is that also blocked? What happens when you try to access it in Safe Mode?
