(:KWL)

About Virus Info is a collection of the greatest computer virus analysts from around the world. They are truly independent compared to other so called independent tests (which you already know) which are sponsored heavily by antivirus companies. They are more accurate & more brilliant than those so called independent because they are truly independent. Here is my question? Who are you going to trust Some one who is sponsored heavily by antivirus companies or someone who is not who will really give truly accurate results!!! :THNK

VirusInfo - Бесплатное лечение компьютеров от вирусов, скорая компьютерная помощь :BNC

could you please give any proof or info about independent testers which are influenced by av vendors?
btw, my grandmother would be also totally independent, but I would not trust any av test done by her. How accurate the tests done by virusinfo really are is also debatable.
Also, http://www.whois.net/whois.cgi2?d=virusinfo.info says the site is registered by Kaspersky. ???

I was talking about the magazines & websites which you already know that give the N360, just a big hint an “editors choice”. By the way if you look at their user reviews, you will see the truth!! (:CLP)
N360 was a very disapponting product, To think They would rate it higher than NOD32,Avira & Bitdefender. Same rank as kaspersky. No way, I think “N” advertised heavily so they could get a good rating. (:SAD). Almost all of us here think that " N" suck. If you are talking about AV-Comparative, AV Test & Virus Buliteen, No, I wasnt talking about them. :THNK

write it in notepad then save it as Eicar.exe and be amazed

mod edit: string fixed ([atbp]) by mod. kail

Russian? I understand it but still more convincing.

Don’t work in system X64. I can do better with other harmless samples.

I am using Win7 x64 and it worked on my system. CAV identified it as an exploit.

But, why is it so ?

I modified the original post because the forums had changed the “[atbp]” into “[at]” (email address protection to prevent harvesting) in the EICAR test string.

Perhaps Seany007 didn’t realise that the string was originally incorrect, he did post before I had modified it.
