Hi Guys, it’s my first post so please bear with me if I’m in the wrong place.
I’ve just upgraded to CIS on one machine with absolutely no issues whatsoever - wonderful.
However my Laptop. XP SP2 Home 32X, won’t play nice!
I’ve uninstalled and re-installed the software 5 or 6 times, I’ve trawled, and cleaned the registry entries, so am happy that it’s a clean install, and as such probably not a CIS issue, and more than likely it’s being tripped up by my settings.
Simply put after every install, I get “Defence + has limited functionality in this system, Virtual environment restrictions apply”
I do not have any virtual drives, just a partitioned hard drive. The machine is networked (wired) and I have to say very stable.
So my question is simply this - what does CIS look for when deciding whether or not to trigger this warning?
If I knew that - I could then double check my settings and services, because as I said, I’m relatively convinced that it is a local issue - but I may be wrong.
Does anyone have any thoughts?
Best wishes, and thanks in advance.
