Didn’t get to watch it all so this comment isn’t video specific, I think comodo needs to make a video on safe practices, Keeping updated applications, back ups etc…
Cool video!
I think I may post on my blog.
This video was a tad better than your average... just a tad.
Unfortunatly the average is... well, sometimes we have the impression that the videos are made by some university students trying to emulate Monty Python.
How about tutorial videos, proper ones.
How about..... excuse me, do you pay money for this videos? Real money? Not Monopoly's?
Who decides this things? I mean... you do have a Marketing department?
I keep feeling a discrepancy between the effectiveness of CIS (no AV) and... well, and everything else.
Jose.
Personally i don`t like these “scare tactics” when done in such a sensationalist way. It looks to much like something Hollywood might do (albeit smaller scale/quality) and therefore is to my eyes less believable.
I totally agree with Jose in that educational type videos would help a lot more. Even if you started off with the sensationalist tosh then moved onto how to better protect yourself.
Not just say “this and that happened which could have been used for this!” Stop it happening, use CIS Pro ???
Dont like it, don
t agree with it.…That`s what i think.
Matt
Yes, I guess it would be better if the videos were more helpful. 88)
now you have showed what the dangers are and what could happen if we don’t take this “dangers” serious, how about a video in the same context that describes and “teaches” you how to prevent such dangers. A video that describes the dangers and shows you how to protect yourself against each of these dangers with appropriate measures. Also how to make use of handy features of web browsers and operating system to minimize the effect of a possible infection. A video that teaches you to recognize social engineering techniques, and shows how criminal “work” online…
I must say this video is brilliant in putting the effects of the dangers of the organized crime on the internet in such a perspective that the “average joe” understands what an impact malware has/could have on our daily lives! Very well done who ever made the examples and calculations!
