OK I have re installed for the second time Version 3. Advanced mode again with self learning defense+
Many pop ups as it is learning which I expect. Once settled I ran a few apps and up comes a prompt
runs as a installer/update; Windows system app or stand alone programme. Here is some doubt. If the programme wants internet access I choose the first option (as for nearly all prompts). Somewhere the CPU started working hard and everything suddenly took minutes to respond to a click. Pegasus mail finally refused to run (this is not a valid win32 application error again) After several prompts where I said allow. By this time my PC had ground to a complete halt so I have gone back to version 2.4 which works brilliantly.
The self learning is a great idea but i think needs work! I do not think there is one programme which is causing this fault (which I believe is deep rooted) but somewhere things are getting tied up. So for now I will stick with 2.4 which offers simpler choices and runs silently in the background. I have moved away from ZA as it was becoming to bloated so keep it lean and mean!
XP pro SP2 32 bit!
Well… I’ve not installed Comodo Firewall 3 because I’ve read many complains, and for now I just have my work notebook and don’t want to ■■■■■ thing up.
I hope Comodo staff fixes that flaws promptly, Comodo Firewall 2.4 is the version that I’m running without any problem, hope to switch to v3 soon. (V)
