VE doesnt work in private mode IE8

Hi, when I put my browser in private mode, verification engine doesnt work…when i take it out of private mose it works…checked manage add ons and the comdod VE is in there and enabled. Thanks.

Please consider to post (or state in you signature) more detailed info about your system
OS; Service Pack; platform’ the precise version of the IE you are using; etc.
What security is installed?
If you are using CIS … are you using full Suite …or… just … ??? what version
All that is very important to developers for pinpointing the issue.

Now back to the browser… and VE

I’m not using IE …
VE stopped working completely on XP here since long time ago… I don’t really care since I am using FireFox

… but I tested what you are saying for windows 7 x64 an I can confirm that switching to “InPrivate Browsing” or to Compatibility Mode as well for both flavours of IE8 (32bit or 64bit) will stop VE from functioning

Also in my case, it will not start working when I switch back within the same session

I hope that developers will reply, but please give them more details about your System Environment as suggested

Windows 7 64 IE 8…works in regular mode for me but not private…
