I did ask this previously but perhaps I did not word it properly.
Can someone who has version 3 and installed V4 say which of the 3 instals they used.
When I came to install V4 it said i could have just a firewall, or I could have Firewall with proactive + [ for better security] or a 3rd option which I believe was the full security suite.
I don’t require the AV as I have a couple of years yet left on my old one.
Can anyone say which ‘option’ is the closest one to V3.
If you want it to act almost exactly the same as V3 (With the Firewall and Defense+) then I believe you should select the Firewall with Proactive + option.
All you will have to do after installing it is to disable the Sandbox if you don’t want to use it. I assume you are downloading the installer from here:
I’ve personally never installed the package without the AV, so I can’t gaurantee that what I’ve said is correct, but it should be. Can someone please correct me if I’m wrong.
