There are alot of firewall alerts that show utorrent being blocked and the network indicator light is orange
( not accepting incoming connections)
I think my firewall is not configured to allow utorrent to work
anyone know how to configure the firewall properly?
uTorrent uses a vast number of ports and is a bit tedious to put together a complete set of rules together. The way to go is to look at the logs and find out what is being blocked, then create the relevant rule.
You can view the firewall log by starting the GUI Firewall > view firewall events
To create a rule, start the GUI Firewall > Advanced > Network Security Policy > Application Rules.
Create an allow rule for each blocked event in the log.
