I was just referred to use Comodo as my firewall…so far it works great…but i’m using norton virus protection software and it is set to update and scan my computer daily. after I installed comodo, it seems it takes for ever to scan my computer…i mean like 15-20hours…any ideas whats causing this?

That sounds like you have a lot of patience with your AV scanner. Go to Defense+, advanced, computer security policy and find your AV scanner in the list. Edit it to be a predefined policy and make it a trusted application. Post back if that does not help.

Also check your D+ events and see if Norton is in there for being blocked from memory access.
