I just ran a game called “Infinifactory” and file was unrecognized. So, I’ve decided to make a file lookup and it said needs to be submitted. So I’ve submitted it and it said “Error, file too big” basically. Game EXE is 15MB in size. But then I’ve tried compressing it with 7z (LZMA2, Ultra profile) and it compressed it down under 5MB in size. Which would be submitted just fine. Why doesn’t CIS do this by default? Compress large files and if they are small enough AFTERWARDS, it should submit or deny submission.
I think this makes an excellent wish. I am moving this to the Wishlist - CIS board.
