i use latest CIS
how do i get rid of this “comodo wants u to enjoy… bl bla” screen at every win start up? i hate it
also: i wanna use only firewall. if i disable antivira what about Clean PC mode?

i don’t know if that’s normal. i don’t think it should do that.
did u pick to install the firewall only during the installation of CIS?
clean pc mode does not have to do with the antivirus. it is part of the HIPS in CFP (Defense+).
Clean PC mode:
“Clean PC Mode: From the time you set the slider to ‘Clean PC Mode’, Defense+ will learn the activities of the applications currently installed on the computer while all new executables introduced to the system are monitored and controlled. This patent-pending mode of operation is the recommended option on a new computer or one that the user knows to be clean of malware and other threats. From this point onwards Defense+ will alert the user whenever a new, unrecognized application is being installed. In this mode, the files in ‘My Pending Files’ are excluded from being considered as clean and are monitored and controlled.”

i uninstalled av yesterday and with firewall only i dont get this annoying “welcome” text

err i use full CIS on my home comp, i only got the CIS PRO PLUS upgrade pop up once right after i reboot after installation. perhaps you mistakenly ticked something on the pop up ???
no idea, i always did No, thanks or whatever it was

I also think this pop up should appear only once and certainly not at every boot.
Did you download CIS from the Comodo website or from somewhere else?
