When I start up CSC a box tells me it is trying to update the program. It then announces that it cannot connect to the server.

Trying to update from within the program achieves the same result.

I have Comodo Internet Security on the machine too, and it connects and updates fine.

Any advice please?


I’m having the same problem. I start CSC 1.1.64946.38 and continue to receive the same message “can not contect to the update server”. This has been going on for days. I’m running Windows XP sp3, CIS the latest version. Firewall, D+, and AV active. So what’s going on?

Just for now, please uninstall the current version on your system and clean install the latest one. You can download it from here: Download Antivirus for Mac | Free Antivirus Software for Mac . Please tell us if the update works now.
