Is there an solution?

Hello flyingturtle,

Thank you for reporting.
Have you modified your host entries to the BETA 2 version? Please let me know.

Kind Regards,
PD

Yes i have modified this but after installation i restore the original host file and this is standing in mine host file:

Copyright (c) 1993-2009 Microsoft Corp.

This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.

This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each

entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should

be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.

The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one

space.

Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual

lines or following the machine name denoted by a ‘#’ symbol.

For example:

102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server

38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host

localhost name resolution is handled within DNS itself.

127.0.0.1 localhost

::1 localhost

Try adding this to your Updates > Proxy & Hosts Settings in CIS

Hi, i am running CIS Pro not the premium version. I have removed the current installation and reboot and install CIS PRO again the update errors are gone but i get two another problems:

  1. Everyday complete database are missing
  2. Killswitch won’t install

For the first time is Comodo frustrating me every day the same issues even after completely removing and installing again. So can someone tell me why these errors happen and what is responsible for this problem.

To do a fresh install - the Hosts File has to be re-configured. After the install, and the Hosts File set back to the original, the setting I showed should be aded

A 2 step process
