I am just testing out doing on-demand scan and definition file update using the command line.
It seems like initiating on-demand scan works fine using CAVSCons.exe. However, I have not
been able to figure out how to initiate update except using CavMUD.exe which launches the
update GUI.
Is there a way of initiating update which does not require GUI and user interaction?
I have not been able to find any information about this. ???
I’m interested in this as well - specifically whether someone has written a custom update script to run with Windows SteadyState yet? I assume if there’s a command-line update solution that this should be straightforward…
