Can anyone shed some light on the problem two people have. We are un-able to connect to the TC server. The log file says:

I look at the --help but that does not really help me that much.
My friend, who also used TC for a while and has the exact same problem and error message, deleted the last line and tried again, but got the same error. So maybe that line is not the issue. On her computer the last line looked like machine language, though, and on mine it is Chinese chars. ???
The interesting thing is that in my home I can access TC just fine (Windows 7) but not from my work computer. My friend (also Win7) cannot access TC from neither location, although before she could from both locations. And she did not change anything.
I checked the Trustconnect.ovpn config file on my laptop in my home and noticed a couple of differences. Here is that .ovpn file (the one that I can connect with):
ca ca.crt
ns-cert-type server
tls-remote ComodoVPNS
mute-replay-warnings
mute 2
comp-lzo
verb 1
The difference is this line:
#emoteuk2.vpn.comodo.com 443
and the last line, which is missing from this (working) file, i.e. the “Chinese” garbled line in the non-working computer.
I will try to replace the .ovpn file in the other computer with the above one and see if it helps. I believe that the #emoteus2.vpn.comodo.com 443 is blocked from here, but the UK one works.
I don’t know why there is the US server in one file an the UK server in the other, as we used the same program version to install the Trustconnect.
Hmm. It did not help. The program seems to add stuff in the Trustconnect.ovpn file at the end. Things that look like garbage. Then it complains that “Unrecognized option or missing parameter(s) in TrustConnect.ovpn:24: 8 (2.1_rc4)”. That number “8” at the end changes according to what it puts in at the end of the ovpn file.
I tried to remove the # from the .ovpn file (#emoteuk2.vpn.comodo.com 443) and make that “remote uk2.vpn.comodo.com 443” but that did not make any difference.
So, no luck. Maybe I need to give up on this as I do not have that much time to spare.

Seems others have similar problems too, so maybe the Comodo could help us fix this?

If these links isn’t available from your PC or laptop, TC client can’t work correctly. So, contact your admin or provider to check why these links are not available for you.
It seems that the ISP is obliged to make certain restrictions at my current university location that may be causing my problem.
I have only tried the free version of TrustConnect here.
Does the full/trial version connect in a different way to the free version? Is it possible that the full version wouldn’t be affected by the ‘restrictions’ that are blocking the free version?
I have previously used a (inferior, I thought) PPTP type VPN at this location. It was not blocked.
For configure PPTP connection to TrustConnect, you don’t need to install client program, you may use default Windows PPTP client.
There is no instruction for configure PPTP connection on Windows system. But you may try to use iPod instructions for configure PPTP connection to TrustConnect system:

After paid the TrustConnect and download/intalled the client, I found that I cannot connect OR open the address" https://trustlogo.comodo.com/trustconnect/location".
Is there any solution provided?
