I was just testing a few viruses and when i restarted my VM, that screen showed up preventing me to boot… I would like to know what this type of virus is and what it translates into
It’s in Russian, it says that your PC is blocked for viewing and distribution of underage xxx materials. To unblock you’ll have to pay a fine of 600 rubles (about 20 dollars) by transfering money to MTS (cellphone provider) account # 89874214512, you’ll get unlock code in the check. Any attempt to unblock your PC without unlock code will result in deleting the system and all files.
Looks like typical winlocker to me.
