How do I enable unique naming of backups from the admin console? I do not want to overwrite the previous backup as long as I have disk to devote to the procedure.
Ok… best solution I can come up with is to create a bazillion backups and schedule them individually.
I was looking for something more like a regex to create names on the fly, but see no existing mechanism without building it outside of the ZTL interface and that kinda defeats the paradigm of ZTL (that’s the first time I’ve ever used paradigm in a sentence, btw)… mom would be so proud.
Besides, if I wanted to do this outside of ZTL, I already have Amanda servers running and I could just mount the drives on an existing schedule. No thanks, I want to keep this atomic so I am forced to learn the interface.
