This may seem a stupid question.
When you uninstal a program
etc say i uninstalled “avast virus” would all the files that are (my own safe files)and also (My pending files) be removed from comodo, or would they just be left behind.

Left behind. That is what the purge button is for - remove files from the list if they no longer exist.
