My system: WinXPHome
I have just installed a new Lexmark Z1420 wireless printer but am unable to communicate with it from my PC. After a long call to Lemark support they confirm printer is installed OK but that my Comodo Firewall V3 is probably blocking communications.
Looking about the Comodo various windows I note the following:
Firewall Events window - lists C:|Program Files\Lexmark 1400 series\wireless\lxdjwpss.exe as ‘blocked’
and
Network Security Policy window - lists C:|Program Files\Lexmark 1400 series\wireless\lxdjwpss.exe Application Rules reads Treat as ‘Web Browser’
Possibly these need modifying somehow to ‘allow’???
Please advise how to get the wireless connection working with the Lexmark Printer. Your early response appreciated. Many thanks
