Unable to Update

When i click on “Check for updates” and then on “Start”, the software tells me - after checking - that there are updates available. After clicking “Next” it starts with 0% and shortly after that following message occurs:

“Error 113: Update could not be completed. Seems internet connection lost halfway during download. Please check your Internet connection and retry.”

Well, i tried a lot the last few days… and my Internet connection works well.

What can I do? Do i really need to re-install or something like that?

What version of CIS have you got installed and what Virus database version.

I have the exact versions and the exact problem. cannot update virus database or main program itself. Says internet connection lost halfway…check internet connection. nothing wrong with connection.

Sorry to both of you the latest version is 3.13.126709.581 your version is some months out of date, I think 3.9 was realeased in May 2009 you should have had a program update notification then.

You will have to uninstall and install the latest version, you can download it from here
