unable to turn off autocomplete in search box (CID) - is it a bug?

I am unable to turn off autocomplete in the search box of Comodo Ice Dragon. Is it a bug? I am trying out Ice Dragon for the first time and just downloaded the latest version.

I have tried the methods listed here.

about:config keyword enabled to false,

‘Options’ > ‘Search’ tab
Uncheckbox/ checkbox ‘Provide search suggestions’ to disable / enable search suggestions,

Am I missing the correct method? Or is it a bug?

Hi and welcome saluki,
Go to about:preferences#search and deselect current and alternative search engines.
Right click the search bar and select ‘Clear Search History’.
