AMD Athloxn XP Thorton 2400+ 2.1GHz 32-bit

2. Operating System information (including Service Pack Version)
Windows XP Professional SP 2 32-bit

3. Actively-running security and utility applications
Avira AntiVir PersonalEdition Classic, CMF, Sandboxie

4. Specific symptoms of the bug, and steps you can take to reproduce it.

If I change from Paranoid → Disable,I can’t right-click CFP in the traybar to open it, click it normally, launch it from the shortcut or the original file in the program folder. It also blocks everything unknown, without any alerts. I can’t terminate cfp.exe or cmdagent.exe, since they’re protected.
If I change from Disable → Paranoid, it’s the same thing, except it won’t give any alerts and allow everything.
I need to reboot to solve the problem.

5. Specific steps you have taken to try to resolve it.

Clean re-installation, but it didn’t solve the problem.

I have a P4 HT, My system internet browser is Firefox, OS: XP sp2 32bit
AV: None
Security Apps: Comodo Firewall Pro 3.0.16, Comodo Memory Guardian 2.0.4.20

I cannot reproduce this. My default is Train with Safe. If I change trom train with safe to Paranoid an then to Disabled without rebooting I get no issues.
Could you attempr to remove the AV and SIE individually to test if this issue is caused by an incompatibility?

gibran

CPU X86, Windows XP SP2 x32
Security Apps: Comodo Firewall Pro 3.0.16.295, Comodo Memory Firewall 2.0.4.20.

Same to me. No issues.

Seems like the menu actually came up when I right-clicked. But it took around one minute, and that’s way too long.
