My buddy (running CIS) called this morning and said that CIS found the following on his PC:

trojanware.win32.fraudpack.p@179389676

It says CIS was unable to quarantine it.

Does anyone know of any removal tools or instructions for removing this? I won’t be able to look at his PC until this weekend, and I’d like to help him about beforehand. He is very PC illiterate, so the easier, the better.

Use MBAM, SUPERAntiSpyware and Hitman Pro to clean the malware. You can also submit the file to Comodo as there is a possibility that this is FP.

Heyyy,

I remove these things all day long…

Restart in Safe Mode.
Run malware bytes + remove the suspect files.
Restart and run a scan
Job done ! :slight_smile:
