Trojan:Win32/Vundo.gen!X was not detected

just had CIS RC1 reinstalled yesterday. Did a full system scan during installation but nothing was detected. However I noticed a sluggish performance on my PC so I decided to do another scan using Windows Defender.

Well, let’s just say it found this “little” Trojan:Win32/Vundo.gen!X hiding in my System folder.

This is what was reported in Windows Defender:

Description:
This program displays advertisements and may be difficult to remove.
Advice:
Remove this software immediately.

Please look into this.

Did you submitted infected files to Comodo?
Detection will get better in time.

Windows Defender got to it before I had a chance to do anything else.
