We have purchased SSL certs from the day Comodo opened it’s doors in Bradford (UK) - a good few decades ago, and added code signing certs, hacker guardian and such like over the years both in the US and the UK.
So the question is - what do we get for paying a 100% plus mark up by buying these directly from Comodo as opposed to the myriad of resellers out there on the internet? It certainly isn’t customer service that, with the exception of Lindsay in Hacker Guardian (who I can’t speak of highly enough), is non-existent.
You get ripped off.
What did you think a company that uses sneaky tactics to install money grabbing programs to be honest?
No they used the trust against you. And basically ripped you off.
That is why the word for trust is translated as gullible in Chinese.
That is the firewall automatically trust svchosts etc without telling you which program called on them to access the internet. An easily done alert process.
sorry sir you have paid for nothing more than a false sense of trust from a company that seems to not know the meaning of the word.
