"The image is corrupted"

Hi there,

I’ve been backing up onto my NAS daily, using an incremental backup. The backup runs fine. However, I’ve just tried to restore, and CB only lists files and folders from two weeks ago - “Date performed: 2011/9/2”. Clicking ‘Verify Image’ returns “The Image Is Currupted”.

Edit: I also backup using the same settings to a thumb drive, and that seems to be fine. So it’s only the NAS backup which has failed…

Edit2: The version of Comodo Backup is 3.0.171317.133, and I’m using XP . The NAS is a DNS-323.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

The issue might be caused by backup process being interrupted by network failure, power failure, etc .
Do you save the incremental backups in the same file or in different files?
If you save them in the same file, running the incremental backup again should fix the problem.

Thanks

The backup is located in the same file. I’ve run the backup again (no errors) but it’s still not possible to restore.

Are you trying yo restore the original backup?
Please post a screenshot with the error you receive.

Thanks

I’ve attached a screenshot of the backups (runs fine) and the restore(“image is corrupted”). I notice that the ‘date performed’ is more recent now.

You can try to upgrade to version 4 here
It should have the issue fixed.

Thanks
