I’m not being deliberately belligerent, in fact, I’m not that kind of person at all, but I just want to make a quick point concerning the User Interface.
Why is it that designers these days insist on using such pale grey fonts which are hardly legible for older people. I really wanted to upgrade to the Pro version of the Comodo firewall because I like it, but I just cannot read the descriptions because the font is virtually the same color as the background. Even if I turn up the contrast on my flat panel to its highest level which practically blinds me, I still cannot discern the wording properly.
So unfortunately, I’ll have to go look for an alternative which uses either a black font, or has some means of enlarging the text.
I think it’s a great shame that designers have no consideration at all for older users whose eyesight isn’t 20/20 anymore and regretably, those who designed the Comodo Firewall interface belong to that group.
