We have a website running over HTTPS with a Comodo EV certificate. We are in the process of implementing a new web server and need to test all the functionality on the new server before going live. We are currently accessing the new server via its ip address for testing.
However some parts of the system need to be configured differently when running over HTTPS. Can anyone advise if/how
• We can install the same (or different) certificate on the test website to make sure everything works over https?
• Is it possible to setup the existing certificate within IIS on our test website ready to work straight away when the domain name is repointed to the new server?
