taskhost.exe

It keeps demanding access to my keyboard. It’s in system32 folder, but I’m paranoid about keyloggers… Is there a reason why it’s requesting access to the keyboard?

Takshost.exe in system32 is normally a Windows system file. See attached image of the properties of Taskhost.exe on my Win 7 x86.

In case of doubt you can always upload it to Virus Total and see what it reports.

So it is ok to allow keyboard accses when it comes from the system and you know your machine is clean?

Exactly. Keyboard access in its self is not necessarily malicious. It is used in regular software as well. So when you trust your system is clean you can safely allow it.

I remember playing with denying keyboard access in Opera browser I could not use the copy/paste.
