svchost connecting to suspicious and ips

Uh…yeah…svchost running under Windows/System32 (local/system) is connecting to suspicious ips and it’s scaring me.

65.24.106.58 & 68.206.105.81 scare me the most because they same to be residential…

8.254.9.254 (have no idea what this is) i’ve received another level 3 communications ip after i blocked this one, forgot to write it down.

I also forgot to write down the port numbers, sorry.

There are no suspicious processes running in task manager, everything seems to be in its right. But these connections are very suspicious

Please help, i’m just about to reinstall windows but i REALLY don’t wanna do that because i just moved, and the new internet here SUCKS and it’d literally take a week to reinstall all my games again…

Svchost analyzer:

Help appreciated, thanks in advance.

What is the Process ID of the svchost process that is making these connections? Please cross reference that with Svshost Analyser findings or with svchost viewer.

I can’t tell you that since I haven’t seen it try to make a connection yet since i turned off Windows homegroup, set network to home(when i got my new service provider i accidentally ticked public) and i turned of that microsoft report thing, the one where windows sends feedback to ms. If i catch it making a connection again i’ll let you know. But from the looks of hijackthis and svc viewer does anything look out of the ordinary?

Also here’s a picture of what’s running under svchost.

I ran your HJT log trough http://hjt.iamnotageek.com/ and that came up with nothing out of the ordinary other than a lot of missing files.

Are you behind a router or does your computer connect directly to the modem?

This is from my service provider, so if i’m not mistaken it’s both?

Update: i saw weird connections today…from france, blah balh massive amount of day on one of them (90mb) i had utorrent open at the time. and when i ended uTorrent they all ceased after a min or so except this ‘Microsoft Limited’ one based in the UK.

Anyway that process id you wanted is

324, it’s always the same one when i catch it connecting to suspicious ips. Could it just be utorrent? I heard utorrent can use svchost through something called toredo but i’m not sure what that is. Can you help me elaborate?
