Suggestions

1.) it would be nice to be able to print the application monitor list or the component monitor list or the network monitor list or the activity log.

2.) activity log should have a date and time for each event

3.) port settings (eg open or close, or allow only these programs to use, or hide or unhide

4.) a choice of a much more detailed activity log would be nice

5.) I’ll bet everyone would like larger (or expandable) log or monitor windows, but it may require a different development platform

6.) being able to set security level to go to high with screen saver or so much inactivity time

G’day,

 1. Agree, could you add printing to the CFP wishlist

 2. Ummm - it does. The quote below is from the exported log file. you can export the log to a HTML file by right clicking and selecting “Export to HTML”. The date and time is listed at the top of each log entry.

Date/Time :2007-06-07 08:28:48 Severity :Medium Reporter :Network Monitor Description: Inbound Policy Violation (Access Denied, IP = 192.168.1.125, Port = upnp-mcast(1900)) Protocol: UDP IncomingSource: 192.168.1.125:1336 Destination: 239.255.255.250:upnp-mcast(1900) Reason: Network Control Rule ID = 15
 1. CFP adaptively stealths all ports. They are only accessible to ro from an application when that application is actually running. The apps ports are stealthed otherwise.

 2. Yes please - we all want better logging and breathlessly await V3.

 3. Another good idea. Can you also add this to the wishlist?

cheers,
Ewen

Thanks.
Can’t verify #2, switching from 1 day to 7 days and back, it seems to have disappeared - even after exiting Comodo and restarting.
The log at C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Comodo\Personal Firewall\Logs\logs.log does still exit however - at 1011 kb - last modified 2.5 hrs ago
