Submit files manually: Folder depth [Nesting] not respected?

Dear Comodo development team,

First of all, I would like to express my extraordinary enthusiasm for the Comodo Free Antivirus program - it is a truly excellent software solution!

Based on this positive experience, I am seriously considering purchasing the Premium version. However, there is one specific feature whose current implementation concerns me greatly and may deter me from purchasing: the manual submission of files and folders for analysis.

My concern relates to the behavior when uploading entire folders. I have noticed that this process does not seem to be recursive. This means that only the files from the top level of the selected folder are transferred, but not the contents of lower-level subfolders. As a result, when manually submitting more complex folder structures, potentially not all relevant files make it into the Comodo network for analysis.

Hence my questions:

Is this restriction to the top folder level for manual submission a deliberate design decision on Comodo’s part?

Is there a way - for example via a configuration file (*.ini, *.cfg) or an entry in the Windows registry - to adjust the behavior so that the entire folder structure is recursively considered and uploaded during manual submission, i.e. the complete folder tree including all files in all subfolders?

I would find such an option for a complete manual analysis very desirable.
