I just found “Fun Web Products” on my trusted files list in CIS 5 Beta (defined by Comodo). About a week ago I reported to Comodo Malware Research a file called Zwinky, that was signed by “Fun Web Products” and it dropped malware on the system. Now, Zwinky is not detected by Comodo AV, but the dropped files are.

So, my question is: why is Comodo trusting this vendor if at least one of its applications is dropping malware?

Honestly, I do not know anything about Fun Web Products.
Perhaps someone is altering a legitimate program by Fun Web Products so that they can install malware?
Should Fun Web Products be de-listed from the trusted vendors?

I also believe I’ve seen a lot of adware type programs that were signed by “Fun Web Products”. Are these actually legitimate applications or has a mistake been made?

This is the Quicken launcher from the last UK version of Quicken by Intuit.

It is from 2004 and was distributed on disc only, so there is no download available.

There are many British users of this software.
