Is it possible to add a list of sites to the hosts file to allow for automatic updates on a machine that does not have DNS enabled?

That should work, on XP at least. :wink: XP still references the hosts. file before attempting DNS resolution.

What would be the entries to put into the hosts file? I tried a few that I found by pinging from another machine, but it fails to connect after 5% on the update. I am thinking that I am connecting to the correct IP, but then the program gets a message to look for the files at a different location or something like that.
